Carey is a Kinesiologist with a special interest in injury diagnostics and functional injury rehabilitation. With a compassionate and holistic approach to total body wellness, Carey uses evidence-based practice by aligning client care with the latest research to help her clients return to normal and feel their best. After completing her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia, Carey worked in a research lab exploring the complex and fascinating mechanisms behind pain in humans. From this she brings a unique understanding of pain, which she integrates into her patient care to help individuals manage and conquer their pain. Carey also holds additional training in optimizing hip and knee function, and evidence-based balance strategies to help reduce risk of falling.
In her free time, Carey can be found cycling, skiing and snowboarding, or curled up with a book.
Carey would love to work with you if you have been in a motor-vehicle accident, are recovering from an injury, or would simply like to improve strength, mobility, or balance.
