Upper Back Stretch: Thread the Needle

Thread the needle is a movement that helps to improve mobility and reduce tension. It is a great for relieving tightness in your upper back and shoulders.
How to:
- Start on your hands and knees with your wrists in line with your shoulders and your knees in line with your hips. Make sure to keep your back straight and shoulders back.
- Lift one arm off the ground, reach across your body, and behind the arm still planted on the ground. Allow your upper back to round and rotate as you reach your arm across.
- Bring your arm back across your body and extend it up towards the ceiling, opening up your chest. Try this stretch on both sides of your body.

*Never do an exercise that causes you pain*
