Heel Raise

This exercise is great for activating and strengthening one of the most important muscles in the leg; Tibialis Posterior. This muscle is important for general physical activity, and it also provides support to the medial arch of the foot. If you’re looking to increase your leg strength try this one out!

How-To Steps:

  1. Start with a ball (or a rolled towel) between your feet just above the heel.
  2. **SQUEEZE** the ball in with your ankles, and maintain this squeeze throughout the exercise.
  3. Lift your heels off the ground, and slowly lower back down.

*Repeat 8 to 12 times, take a break, and try again
