Pronation/Supination Wrist Exercise

This wrist exercise is excellent for patients who are in the subacute phase of recovering from a wrist injury and aren’t quite ready for concentrics / eccentrics. It is a great way to build stability and introduce strengthening.
How to:
- Start with your wrist in neutral and holding the hammer.
- Slowly and in a controlled manner, lower the hammer down inward, so your palm faces down (pronation).
- Repeat on the other side, so your palm faces the ceiling (supination).
- The lower you grip the hammer the more challenging it becomes.

*Never do an exercise that causes you pain
