Single Leg Balance Exercise

The single leg balance exercise is great for both balance training as well as for strengthening the stability muscles that are in your ankle! This exercise can be easily modified too, for more difficulty you can try closing your eyes. If this exercise is too difficult, try doing it on the floor instead of an uneven surface.

How-To Steps:

  1. Stand on a pillow/folded yoga mat/couch cushion in front of a counter so you can grab it if needed to steady yourself.
  2. Lift one leg and hold it as long as possible.
