Single Leg Balance with a BOSU Ball

single leg balance with the BOSU Ball demonstrated

The single leg balance with a BOSU ball challenges your stability while strengthening your ankles, hips and core. This exercise also helps improve your balance and coordination.

How To:

1. Start by flipping over the BOSU ball so the flat surface is facing upward. Step onto the centre of the flat surface with one foot.
2. Lift your opposite foot off the ground. Try to maintain your balance for 30 seconds with little to no shaking. Think about “pulling up” through your body to stay balanced.
3. Lower your raised foot, step off the BOSU ball, and repeat the exercise on the opposite foot.
