Wrist Exercise

Wrist Strengthening Exercise

This exercise is a great way to strengthen the wrist muscles and improve your wrist flexibility and range of motion. This is also great for someone with hyper-mobile wrists or to re-introduce loading of the wrist joint following an injury!

How-To Steps:

  1. Rest your forearm on a table. Hold your wrist over the edge of the table with a small weight.
  2. With your palm facing down, lift the top of your hand towards the ceiling while keeping your forearm on the table.
  3. Once your wrist is at its full range of motion, hold the position for a few seconds and then lower your hand back to its original position.
  4. Repeat as prescribed. You may also repeat this exercise with your palm facing up, lifting your palm towards the ceiling instead.

*Never do an exercise that causes you pain*
